What we FOCUS on is what will CONSUME us. Psalm 23:7 says, “as we think, so are we.” The children of Israel focused on the Egyptian armies and fear consumed them…but Moses focused on the Promised Land and his faith parted the Red Sea. Shadrack, Mishack and Obed-nego focused on God’s intervention and the fiery furnace could not kill them. Even Jesus focused on His Father in heaven and the grave couldn’t keep him. I heard God say “FOCUS YOUR FAITH IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO GO and nothing will be able to stop you from reaching your destination. By Pastor Kuechler, M.A.
Listen… I know our minds can race, worry, become fearful and even THINK THE WORST. But please hear me… you have to STOP IT! What you focus on will consume you. You just have to find the good in your situation. You just have to thank God you are still in the fight. You just have to be kind even when others are not. Don’t think the worst… think the best and release your faith. WORRY WILL CONSUME US… FAITH WILL RELEASE US. Don’t let your mind travel to dark places… let the light shine through you. Many of you have fished all night and caught NOTHING but I heard God say TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. You will have victory if you don’t give up. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Find the best in your situation. Put your trust in the Lord. For I speak with experience… you will come through this and be better off, more anointed, and filled with greater love. Your deliverance is coming. Your victory is close at hand. Until then… keep fighting the good fight of faith.
